ABOUT US
A Century of Tradition in the Great North Woods
The story of Colebrook Country Club & Motel begins a century ago — with a community that dreamed big.
The original clubhouse was an old barn built in the 1800s. In 1927 our 9-hole golf course was built on what would become one of the most scenic properties in New Hampshire’s North Country.
In the 1940s, the property was briefly known as the Ethan Allen Country Club. Then, in 1956, the property was expanded to include a motel and bar patio. Over the decades, the facilities grew — the bar enclosed, and the property continued to evolve.
In 2021, Shannon and Brooks Anderson became the latest stewards of this landmark. They’ve led a full renovation of the motel — adding custom touches, modern amenities, and a renewed sense of pride in this historic property.
The bar, golf course and motel continue to see updates.
Today, Colebrook Country Club & Motel stands as a symbol of North Country hospitality — where history meets modern comfort and everyone is welcome to stay, play, and make new memories.
